PSG Secure Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Until 2029

Paris Saint-Germain has announced the signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a standout forward from Napoli, on a contract running until June 2029. The 23-year-old Georgian international moves to the French champions following reports of interest from other top clubs, including Liverpool and Chelsea.

Kvaratskhelia, affectionately nicknamed “Kvaradona” by Napoli fans during their triumphant 2022-23 Serie A season, expressed his excitement about the move. “Joining PSG is a dream come true. I’ve heard incredible things about this club and can’t wait to represent these colors,” he said.

While financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, reports suggest PSG paid €70million , along with potential add-ons, to secure the talented winger. This marks PSG’s first acquisition in the January transfer window, making Kvaratskhelia the club’s first-ever Georgian player.

Known for his creativity, determination, and goal-scoring ability, Kvaratskhelia made a name for himself at Napoli, contributing 54 goals and assists across 107 appearances. His journey to European prominence began in 2022 when he joined Napoli from Dinamo Batumi for £9 million. He also played a pivotal role in Georgia’s impressive run to the Euro 2024 Round of 16

PSG, currently leading Ligue 1 by seven points, praised their new signing as “one of the most thrilling players in world football” and a team-oriented talent. The club looks forward to integrating him into their squad ahead of key fixtures, including an upcoming Champions League clash against Manchester City
